Stuart is a fun horse with a great attitude.
Super cross-country horse with an excellent rhythm. Very bold and simply cruises around the course. Adapts well to all sorts of fences - banks, skinnies, corners etc. Competed four NZEF training horse trials, all clear cross-country.
Stuart is simple to ride and scores very well on the flat (won the dressage at last event on 70%). Not tense or hot and handles pressure well. Good mouth and is never strong (has only ever been ridden in a snaffle).
Stuart is great to hack out alone or in company and loves to go for missions down the farm. Excellent in health; has never been lame or sick - excellent hard feet and lovely coat. Good doer.
Although we see eventing as his forte, Stuart will make a great all-rounder.
A late starter, with more experience and a consistent training program, Stuart will only continue to shine. As he does have quite a big jump and is a young horse he does require a rider with a bit of experience and one who will be able to sit to his jump.
Genuine sale due to university commitments. He is fit and ready for the autumn season.
Home very important, welcome to multiple try-outs although no home trials. The ideal home for Stuart would be with an ambitious, capable young rider.
