Horse caught on camera travelling in the back of a car

Tuesday, November 16, 2010

A video of a horse travelling in the back of a car has received over 200,000 hits on YouTube.

The horse was captured on camera by Rick Potter, who was driving to Walmart with his wife and two children on Saturday 6 November.

The family were driving on the I-75 highway between Osage City and Topeka in Kansas when they noticed the unusual backseat passenger.

According to reports the horse is called Rascal and is owned by Kansas-based Jerry Miller.

Rick Potter was reportedly contacted and visited by Jerry after the owner saw the video.

"Rascal the 15-year-old horse and Jerry drive all over Kansas doing shows for folks. Rascal can do 40 different tricks and some say he's the smartest horse in the world," wrote Rick on YouTube.
