StableMate Equine TV: EP 15 - Approaching a jump

Monday, July 16, 2012

Welcome back to the Equine Trader Stable Mate TV show jumping series with grand prix show jumper, Edward Bullock.

In this series, Edward talks about flatwork with show jumpers and gives you practical ways of preparing your horse for jumping.

In this week's equisode Edward demonstrates how to ride down to a jump.  When riding to a fence the rider must judge the horses' stride and adjust the stride so the horse takes off at the right distance from the jump. Edward describes three ways that a rider can acheive this.
