Horse riding lessons, offered in west Auckland, 20 mins from downtown Auckland.
The lessons take place on our well schooled horse and ponies and are suitable for anyone to ride.
The cost is $45, for a one hour lesson private lesson (one on one).
The lessons takes place in an 60 x 20 metre, all-weather sand and crushed shell horse arena, this surface is safe to ride on, no matter what the weather.
All of our instructors available are qualified and experienced riding instructors, who compete and ride regularly as well as teaching and therefore are up to date with the latest methods/techniques on teaching and horse riding. All of our instructors have achieved within the equestrian world.
The horse will be tacked up ready for the riding lesson, when you arrive. The horse will be untacked when you leave so you do not have to worry about this, although you have the opportunity to learn about these things, if you wish.
The lessons can take place most times during the week and on certain times during the weekend.
The main lesson times available-
Monday- Anytime during the hours of 8 am-3 pm or after 3pm
3:30- 4:30 and 4:40- 5:40 or 4:00- 5:00 and 5:10- 6:10
Tuesday-Anytime during the hours of 8 am-3 pm or after 3pm 3:30- 4:30
Wednesday-Anytime during the hours of 8 am-3 pm or after 3pm 3:30- 4:30
Thursday-Anytime during the hours of 8 am-3 pm or after 3pm 3:30- 4:30 and 4:40- 5:40 or 4:00- 5:00 and 5:10- 6:10
Friday- Anytime during the hours of 8 am-3 pm or after 3pm 3:30- 4:30
Sunday- Please enquire about lesson times available. As the instructors are competing during the weekends.
Saturday- Please enquire about lesson times available. As the instructors are competing during the weekends.
We are also available to give private lessons on your own horse, these are usually done on our grounds, the lessons can include dressage and jumping and the instructor available to do this lessons has many years experience in competition. He has competed to level 2 (novice) in dressage schooled horses to level 3 (elementary) and competed horses to training in Eventing. He has also had a lot of experience with re-schooling problem horses in dressage and jumping. So he can help out with any dressage or jumping problems that you are having trouble with. The cost is $45 and includes arena hireage. Please disregard the below conditions as these do not apply to this service (lessons on own horse) as that are not necessary.

Conditions-
Lessons must be booked at least five day in advance.
The person having the lesson must be over eight years old and must be brought by their parent or caregiver (over 18). The parent must be prepared to sign a waiver, before the lessons starts if the child is under 18 years old. The parent must stay for the entire lesson.
People wanting riding lessons who are over 18 years old, Must be prepared to sign a waiver.
The first $25 of the lesson cost must be paid by internet banking when booking the lesson. The remaining $20 must be paid in cash to your instructor at the start of the lesson.
