Dressage rider Louisa Hill and her horse Bates Antonello have been named as New Zealand's first equestrian representatives for this year's London Olympics. It is vindication for Hill's decision to turn down considerable money from an overseas investor in her 10-year-old horse to chase her goal of taking him as far as she can, including competing in London. She owns the horse with her mother Jenny and sister Anna.
