The Australian Equestrian Federation selectors have named seven dressage combinations to compete in the lead up to London.

The shows are the Mannheim CDI in Germany on May 3-8 and Compeigne CDI in France from May 31 to June 3.

The combinations named are:

HAYLEY Beresford, with Belissimo NRW, owned by ucht-u Sportpferde Schmidt GmbH.

MARY Hanna, with Sancette, owned by Mary and Rob Hanna.

LYNDAL Oatley, with Potifar, owned by Andrew and Carol Oatley.

BRETT Parbery, riding Lord of Loxley, owned by Clyde Wunderwald.

ROZZIE Ryan and GV Bullwinkle, owned by Olivia Bunn.

RACHAEL Sanna and Jaybee Alabaster, owned by Beverley and John Edwards.

CHANTAL Wigan, riding Ferero, owned by Chantal Wigan and Gary Fairman.

The reserves are Hayley Beresford's Simba G, owned by Elaine Harrison; and Mary Hanna's second mount, Umbro, owned by Mary and Rob Hanna.

As the winner of the Pacific League Final, Sanna and Jaybee Alabaster will represent the Pacific League at the Reem Acra FEI World Cup Final in Hertogenbosch, Holland, next month.

This will be Sanna's second time at the International Equestrian Federation. She represented Australia in 1999 at Dortmund, Germany, aboard Charisma.

Meanwhile, organisers of the World Cup final on April 18-22 are confident the outbreak of equine herpes virus that is putting a stop to competition in that area will have cleared.

The Dutch Equestrian Federation cancelled several big events and requested that people keep their competition horses at home.

It said there was no threat to the Dutch equestrian team's participation in London.
