Our friends at NZ Riding for the Disabled are currently running a fantastic campaign called ‘The Great RDA Horse Doodle’, which asks 30 New Zealand icons to step outside of their comfort zone... all for a great cause!
The Great RDA Horse Doodle is a quirky fundraising campaign that calls on 30 well-known New Zealanders to doodle their interpretation of a Horse onto a high-quality canvas – which is then auctioned off on TradeMe, with 100% of the funds raised from these auctions going towards the work of Riding for the Disabled in New Zealand. Artists include Sir Mark Todd, Andrew Nicholson, Jock Paget and Tim & Jonelle Price.
This is a great opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind piece of equine art… a great Christmas present!
The participants includes everyone from sporting heroes, actors and musicians to artists and television personalities – find out more about the campaign and who’s involved by going to www.rda.org.nz/horsedoodle.htm.
You can also view the auctions themselves at NZRDA’s online Trade Me store at http://www.trademe.co.nz/stores/riding-for-the-disabled. The first set of 15 auctions close on Monday 8th December, and the second set close son Thursday 11th December. So please place a bid and help support NZRDA to change the lives of disabled children and adults across New Zealand.
