It was a clean sweep for the South Islanders at the NRM National Three-Day Event at the Fiber Fresh National Equestrian Centre in Taupo, filling the first five places in the NRM CCI3* and retaining the Silver Spurs for the Inter-island Team Competition in the process.
Overseas, Andrew Nicholson finished third in the International CCI3* Three Day event in Saumur, France. Mark Todd and NZB Grass Valley earned their qualification for the London Olympics with their seventh placing.
